Kickstarting spring on the Gold Coast, SWELL Sculpture Festival returns to Currumbin Beach with another epic display of small and large sculptures on the oceanfront.
SWELL Festival is free, family-friendly and held over 10 days, so there’s no excuse to miss it. When, you ask? September 10 to September 19.
Crafted Beer & Cider Festival
Love craft beer? Then Crafted Festival is everything you could want, taking over Kurrawa Park Broadbeach for a full day of craft brews, entertainment and live music.
Taste over 40 of Australia’s leading breweries in one location. The only problem is pacing yourself, as there’ll be more than 250 unique brews to choose from. Invite mates and grab tickets now for September 11.
Coolangatta Gold 2021
The iconic Gold Coast triathlon. The Coolangatta Gold is back in October and not to be missed for hardy triathletes and anyone looking for an excuse to head to the beach, as the action will be free to spectate.
Head to Coolangatta, park up a deck chair and soak up the beach atmosphere during this challenging 42km triathlon, which will take place over two days on the weekend of October 16 and October 17.
Gold Coast Masters Golf
Celebrating 26 years, Gold Coast Masters Golf Championship 2021 is the ultimate golfing tournament Queensland has to offer for golfers looking to tee off with the best.
15 divisions, 4 rounds and multiple host clubs, Gold Coast Masters Golf is set for 7 days of non-stop golfing action with a whopping total prize pool of $50,000. Non-golfers are also welcome to spectate, taking place from October 24 to October 30.
Pan Pacific Masters Games – UPDATE: CANCELLED
Asia-Pacific’s biggest multi-sports festival, open to all ages and abilities. Pan Pacific Masters Games 2021 will feature over 40 sports across a 10-day program – complete with celebratory live music and entertainment for all participants.
Events will be held at multiple Gold Coast sports clubs and locations, including the beach. Get ready to take part or spectate, as it comes from November 5 to November 14.
Groundwater Country Music Festival 2021
The most anticipated Gold Coast event this spring – Groundwater Country Music Festival returns to Broadbeach with a massive music lineup featuring the likes of The Wolfe Brothers, Adam Harvey, Sara Storer and MORE yet to be announced.
Held in Broadbeach and 100% free to attend, Groundwater Festival is one of the Gold Coast’s biggest annual music festivals, which was sorely missed last year.
Whatever you do, don’t miss it this spring from November 12 to November 14.
